These are now role-based suits which are a lot better than basic ones. They are worth spending SP into and are permanent :) I have raven and it rocks socks.

There is thing called contract with Sony. They have to fulfill it. And nobody cares about reviews - EVE got horrible reviews at first and now it is 10 years running one of the best MMOs out there.
